Life will flash in the blink of an eye! Just like that your childhood is over and you are deep into adulthood. Being blessed to see life’s later years I’ve made up in my mind to leave the life of false pleasures.
As a new believer there is always outside noise screaming that “God loves us for who we are” well I heard somewhere that God loves us despite of who we are!
Former New England patriot Fullback Heath Evans is a man of God that I began following on instagram.
Every so often he shares a “proverb of the day keeps the stupid away”
This is where he shares scripture that puts this wall of life into perspective.
One of his regular post really Spoke to me and confirmed my decision to make the necessary turn to Christ!
He stated:
“God is perfectly holy
He doesn’t excuse sin, he cannot overlook sin, and he simply cannot accept sinful men.
God doesn’t save sinners and leave them As they are. HE TRANSFORMS THEM!
The man who has been born again loves what he once hated and hates what he once loved. He now lives Christ words, his people, and grows in holiness!
Become a true child of God by believing Jesus alone is the only true savior! Repent and turn to Christ and walk in a newness of life that is given to every true child of God.”
There was much more but that was the meat of the message and it was filling and satisfying to my soul.
Don’t believe that because your loved that you don’t have to change your wicked ways. Because you are loved a way was made that you may spend an eternity in love rather than torment And despair.
To experience a heavenly eternity becoming a new creature is a must! We are called to be born again with a clean spirit and a new mind.
Take this time today to walk a new walk talk a new talk and love the way God calls you to love!
